Rating - Part 2
The rating game has come to a closure. After the review sessions with the staffs, some will go home happy with fat bonus, promotion and increment.
I work for a company that gives contractual bonus to staffs from certain job grades. It is a default thing that, regardless of one is a performer or not they will get a 2-months Christmas present every year! (but not for managerial level).
And when the rating game is finalized, these people might get additional bonus on top of their christmas present - if they are good kids. ;-) For the bad kids, watch out! For I am going to watch you closely for disciplinary actions.
Hmmm... It certainly feels good to see people are happy after the performance review. Happy workers are productive and efficient.
